It's Friday and here's the news

Let's see, what can I tell you today? O.k., the West Coast has had 4 earthquakes in the last week, makes everyone wonder what is going on there.

I haven't talked to your dad since last Saturday. If he keeps this up I'll probably wring his neck! LOL! Just kidding! But he could call for a few minutes every now and then to let me know, if nothing else, everything is o.k. with you. I'll have to talk to him about that. He only lives 5 minutes away and working literally minutes up the road.

Tia ia coming over this week-end, Sunday is Father's Day.

Hmmmmm, really nothing to report, all is quiet. But I'll write more when there is more to tell.

HOT!

Not much going on today, it's 95 degrees outside with a heat index of 105. Haven't talked to your dad for a couple of days but I know this heat is really hard to work in. You step-grampa, Tee, works in it, too. I don't see how.

Your first onesie! Posted by Hello

And here is you at 2 months Posted by Hello

Here's your dad and Aunt Rachael Posted by Hello

It's June 14th, little one

I haven't done such a great job as yet of keeping this blog up for you. I'll try and do better.

You know, you will be the first generation in this family to be born with the internet as a thing taken for granted. As a tool
for daily use. That's kinda wild. When your dad was little, there were no home computers, no internet, no CD's, no DVD's, none of those. And he is still mostly kid himself. He is 22 at this writing, and working as a plumber's apprentice. I think he is a little afraid of you right now, but it's not because he doesn't love you. I think it's just because he wants to give you so much and be a good dad and wants to do the right thing for you. That's a lot to think about. But I know he is looking forward to you.

We don't know what you are yet, a boy or girl, but it really doesn't matter. Your dad has picked the name Hunter for you if you are a boy, hasn't decided on the middle name yet. If you are a girl, your mom has decided on Cassandra Fantasia. That was their agreement, if you are female, she names you, if you are male, you dad does. I suggested Dane, or Devlin, Michael too. Bella for a girl because it means "beautiful" in Italian or Adrienne. But we'll have to wait and see.

Your due date is Christmas Eve, 2005, what a Christmas gift! Ok, I'm going to put a couple of current events right now, so you'll know what happened today.

Yesterday, Michael Jackson was judged "not guilty" of his charges in court.

Howard Dean, the Democratic Chairman said the Republican party was "primarily white, conservative and Christian" last week. I don't know why everyone is having such a fit, it's true. But it has gotten him into trouble again.

Hillary Clinton is gearing up for her Presidential run.

Tom Cruise is having a mid-life crisis, preaching Scientology to everyone he encounters and dating a 25 year old. The age may be 26.

The popular movie right now is the Star Wars 3rd sequel. Also Russell Crowe in "Cinderella Man". He got in trouble last week as well for throwing a phone at a hotel clerk after the phone not working.

Your great-aunt Georgia and your great-uncle Gavin are coming next week to the Island for a week. I'll be visiting for a day with your Aunt Rachael going. Your Aunt Rachael just bought a car, a blue Honda Civic and she really likes it. She is looking for a job and thinking of sending pics in to a modeling agency.

You have a step-cousin, Nicole. She is 10 weeks old today, and Tia, is her mom.

Well, enough for now. I will try and post something at least a couple of times a week. I am looking forward to seeing you. Rachael and I bought you your little Tool onsie and I am crocheting sweaters for you as well as blankets. Write more later.
